“Haunted” Halloween Popcorn Boxes

Hello Carta Bella friends, Becki here. I love all things Halloween. I’m a bit of a Halloween nut. Yes, I am that person, I will have my Halloween decorations up the first week of September. I look forward to Halloween every year! I am having so much fun playing with the Haunted collection in preparation for Halloween 2016. I made these adorable popcorn boxes using a few patterned papers and stickers from the Haunted collection.
These popcorn boxes are so easy to create. I used THIS cut file (I simply left off the tree, moon and the bat). Instead of the die cut scenery, I added stickers from the element sticker sheet.
The first box features white doily, a few sequins and the haunted house sticker. I added a bit of texture and made the box really stand out with a black ribbon tied in a bow and with an orange button on top.
The second box has similar elements (minus the paper doily). I stapled the ribbon in place on this popcorn box. The sticker is adhered with pop dots. To add a little interest I tucked sequins under the sticker.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind when creating these popcorn boxes:
1. Use strong liquid adhesive.
2. Adhere the decorative panels before assembling the box.
3. Staple or hot glue ribbons and buttons
Have fun creating your own Halloween popcorn boxes. Thanks for stopping by the Carta Bella blog today!
